PAMPANGA — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has intensified its police visibility and law enforcement operations across Central Luzon as part of the implementation of the Safer Cities Program, resulting in the recording of 3,265 violators from April 6 to 9, 2026.

The operations are being carried out in support of the Safer Cities Program jointly implemented by the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the Philippine National Police, which aims to strengthen public safety and enhance police presence in urban and high-density areas.

According to PRO3, various Police Provincial Offices (PPOs) and City Police Offices (CPOs) in the region have heightened security and visibility measures within their respective areas of responsibility. These efforts focused on public places such as transport terminals, commercial establishments, major road networks, and other convergence areas where large numbers of people gather.

Based on the latest operational report, authorities recorded 1,345 curfew violators, 1,034 individuals caught drinking in public places, 823 persons cited for half-naked exposure in public areas, and 63 individuals involved in loud videoke violations.

Of the total violators, 2,993 individuals were issued warnings, while 272 violators were fined, generating a total of Php125,300 in penalties. In addition, 253 individuals were issued citation tickets, although no cases required the filing of formal charges during the reporting period.

Ground units continue to conduct sustained foot and mobile patrols, area inspections, and police visibility operations to maintain peace and order and strengthen the public’s sense of safety across the region.

PRO3 Regional Director Jess B. Mendez emphasized that the intensified operations reflect the police organization’s commitment to responsive and community-centered policing.

“Pulis Central Luzon—nagbibigay ng serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman. Iyan ang pamantayan na patuloy nating isinusulong sa bawat operasyon at sa bawat komunidad na ating pinaglilingkuran,” Mendez said.

He also highlighted the importance of close coordination with local government units, barangay officials, and community force multipliers in sustaining a unified approach to maintaining peace and order throughout the region.

The intensified operations are aligned with the PNP’s Focused Agenda, which prioritizes enhanced police visibility, strengthened public trust, and the promotion of safer communities.

As public activities continue to increase across Central Luzon, PRO3 assured the public of its continued presence on the ground, emphasizing proactive policing and a sustained commitment to delivering public service that is efficient, trustworthy, and truly felt by the communities it serves.
