The third season of AFAB’s most anticipated stakeholder golf tournament in the Freeport Area of Bataan once again brought the FAB community together for a full day on the course with AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman. The event was held at Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club.
This year’s tournament was made possible through the generous support of the Cup’s Event Partner, San Miguel Corporation, and Hole Sponsors – Dong In Group of Companies, GN Power Dinginin Ltd. Co., Camaya Coast, Bataan-Baseco Joint Venture Inc., and One Mariveles Fuel Corporation.
Welcomed by clear morning skies at Pradera Verde, seasoned golfers and recreational players checked in early, greeting their peers and preparing their gear while the course staff finalized arrangements across the fairways. Pradera Verde’s Pinatubo Golf Course stood in pristine condition, with the early sun casting a steady glow over the landscape – a fitting backdrop for a full day of competition.
Participants gathered at the shotgun start staging area for photo opportunities before tee off. Leading the ceremonial send off was AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman, joined by Office of the Administrator Group Head Atty. Percival B. Peralta and MGen. Ramon A. Ragasa, AFP (Ret.), Consultant to the Chairman and CEO for Security related Matters at San Miguel Corporation, the tournament’s Official Event Partner.
With the official signal to begin, players proceeded to their assigned holes, marking the formal start of AFAB HPP Cup Season 3. By late afternoon, players returned to the clubhouse where the reception began. Conversations carried on over shared stories from the course. Handshakes and laughter filled the venue as the day’s competition transitioned into a relaxed gathering of the Freeport Area of Bataan business community. The tournament concluded with the awarding ceremony, as participants assembled to recognize this year’s top performers.
AFAB HPP Cup Season 3 closed in celebration of renewed ties, building on the momentum of previous seasons and reaffirming the Authority’s commitment to fostering strong relationships within the Freeport Area of Bataan. The tournament has steadily grown into one of AFAB’s flagship stakeholder engagement and sporting events.
