Two High-Value Individuals Arrested; Over Php855K Worth of High-Grade Marijuana Seized in Olongapo City

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Two newly identified High-Value Individuals (HVIs) were arrested, and more than Php855,000 worth of high-grade marijuana was seized during a coordinated anti-illegal drug operation in Olongapo City.

At around 3:35 a.m. on February 10, 2026, personnel from the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (CPDEU), in coordination with the Police Station 4 – Station Drug Enforcement Unit (PS4 SDEU), conducted a buy-bust operation along Purok 6, Limbas Street, Barangay New Cabalan, Olongapo City.

The operation led to the arrest of two newly identified HVIs. Authorities confiscated seven heat-sealed sachets of suspected “Kush” high-grade marijuana weighing 490 grams, with an estimated street value of Php735,000. In addition, one kilogram of suspected marijuana worth Php120,000 was seized, along with Php3,000 marked buy-bust money.

PRO3 Regional Director, Police Brig. General Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., emphasized that the successful operation demonstrates the continued implementation of intelligence-driven anti-drug initiatives.

“The successful conduct of this operation highlights our sustained efforts to prevent illegal drugs from reaching our communities. Anti-illegal drug operations will continue to be intensified under the PNP Focused Agenda and our 3Ps — Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism,” Peñones said.
