The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), led by Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman, held a courtesy call with JSINSP Don Mari Phil B. Frayna, Jail Warden of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Mariveles Municipal Jail, on 3 February 2026 to explore potential partnerships supporting Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
Discussions focused on possible CSR collaborations, including the turnover of usable items and sewing scraps, skills training seminars in sewing and welding, and employment opportunities through FAB locators engaging PDLs in product manufacturing.
The meeting also explored broader collaboration initiatives with FAB locators and AFAB support programs aimed at strengthening rehabilitation efforts and improving PDL welfare.
