AURORA — The Aurora Police Provincial Office (APPO), led by Provincial Director Police Colonel Robert L. Petate, paid a traditional New Year’s Call to Governor Isidro P. Galban at the Provincial Capitol in Baler, reinforcing institutional ties and shared commitments between the Philippine National Police and the Provincial Government of Aurora.

Petate was joined by members of the APPO Command Staff, Provincial Staff, and the Chiefs of Police from Aurora’s eight municipalities. The courtesy visit symbolized unity of purpose and reaffirmed the police organization’s support for the province’s governance direction, particularly Governor Galban’s “Sigla at Galak” agenda.

Discussions during the visit focused on sustaining peace and order, enhancing collaborative initiatives, and strengthening community-based programs that promote safety, stability, and public trust across Aurora. Both parties underscored the importance of close coordination between the PNP and the Local Government Unit in delivering effective public service and ensuring the welfare of every Auroran.

Police Colonel Petate emphasized APPO’s continuing commitment to align its operational priorities with the provincial government’s development thrusts.

“This New Year’s Call is more than a tradition—it is a reaffirmation of our unity, our shared responsibility, and our collective commitment to serve the people of Aurora with integrity, professionalism, and dedication. The strong partnership between APPO and the Provincial Government is a cornerstone in maintaining peace, order, and public confidence in our institutions,” Petate said.

Governor Galban, for his part, expressed appreciation for the support of the Aurora PNP and highlighted the role of sustained collaboration in advancing the province’s peace and development goals under the banner of “Sigla at Galak.”
