The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) provides an update on the status of fuel facilities within the Freeport. The Petron fuel station (SJ FAB Petron Service Corporation) is currently closed for scheduled renovation works, which form part of its ongoing efforts to maintain and improve infrastructure and services for locators, workers, and visitors. Operations at the Petron station are expected to resume following completion of the renovation.

Meanwhile, the Star Oil fuel station (The Creemore Marketing Corporation) has been tagged non-operational since last year. This status has remained unchanged and is part of the routine evolution of commercial facilities within the Freeport.

The AFAB assures investors, locators, and the public that overall commercial and industrial activities within the FAB remain stable, uninterrupted, and continue to support the growth of the local economy. The Authority, under the leadership of Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman, remains committed to providing a conducive environment for business operations and infrastructure enhancements.
