Convenors and head of delegates to the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree (APRSJ) led by the host, Boy Scout of the Philippines celebrates as they unveil the marker on Sunday at Camp Kainomay in Barangay San Juan, Botolan, in the province of Zambales, Philippines.
The marker serves as a milestone in the preparation for the 33rd APR Scout Jamboree and marking the site where scouts from across the Asia-Pacific Region gather for cultural exchange, leadership development and friendship.

The activity was attended by key BSP officials headed by BSP National President Emilio B. Aquino, Acting Secretary General Cedrick G. Train, and Chief National Commissioner Jose Rizalino Ortega, Officials from the Local Government Unit of Zambales headed by Hon. Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. – Governor of the Province of Zambales and Camp Chief, Hon. Doriz Maniquiz – Congresswoman of the 2nd District of Zambales and Hon. Jun Omar Ebdane – Mayor of Botolan, Zambales and the Deputy Camp Chief for Logistics. It was also attended by the officials of the World Organization of the Scout Movement headed by the Secretary General David Berg, Mr. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Zin Bin Bidin- Chairperson of the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Committee and Mr. J. Rizal C. Pangilinan- Regional Director of the World Bureau – Asia-Pacific Region.
More than 23,000 international and local scouts from across the Asia Pacific are participating in the said event which kicks off Saturday, December 13 and runs until December 21.
