BATAAN– The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and IRONMAN Group’s Sunrise Events Inc., together with the AFAB Public Safety and Security Department (PSSD), Mariveles Public Safety Office, Mariveles Tourism Office, PNP-Mariveles, Philippine Coast Guard-Mariveles, and Camaya Coast, conducted the second coordination meeting for the much-anticipated FAB 5150 Triathlon, set to take place on November 16, 2025.

Marking a milestone for the province, the 5150 FAB is the first-ever Olympic-distance triathlon in Bataan, bringing together athletes, triathletes, and the local community for a world-class sporting event.

The meeting focused on ensuring comprehensive coordination in security, road and traffic management, and medical response to guarantee a smooth and safe race experience. Each participating agency presented updates on their respective operational plans, command post assignments, and emergency response measures.

By convening this coordination meeting, AFAB and its partner agencies reinforced their shared commitment to ensuring that every aspect of the FAB 5150 Triathlon, from security and logistics to medical response, is executed with precision and excellence. This initiative reflects AFAB’s continuing efforts to promote a Freeport environment that supports wellness, tourism, and inclusive development.
