PAMPANGA — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) reaffirmed its commitment to peace and community solidarity as the Regional Salaam Advocacy Group formally welcomed its new set of officers during an oath-taking ceremony on September 19, 2025, at the Patrol Hall, Camp Olivas.
The event was attended by Police Colonel Reynaldo S. Ogay Jr., Deputy Regional Director for Operations, who represented Police Brig. General Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3.
In a message delivered by Police Col. Ogay, Police Brig. General Peñones emphasized that the vision of Acting Chief PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., for a “Bagong PNP” anchors on crime prevention, cybercrime response, anti-drug operations, and integrity-building across the 228,000-strong police force. He stressed the importance of community engagement in building trust between law enforcers and the public.
“Guided by this vision, we shall continue to build public trust and strengthen our community engagement, hand in hand with partners like the Salaam Advocacy Group,” the message read.
The ceremony also marked a symbolic leadership transition as outgoing President Brother Ustadz Kamar Sabdulla formally handed over his responsibilities to incoming President Brother Samsoden P. Manalocon. Both leaders highlighted the group’s ongoing commitment to peacebuilding, unity, and cooperation.
The Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) spearheaded the activity as part of PRO3’s broader effort to foster stronger ties with faith-based and civic organizations.
