PAMPANGA — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has successfully concluded a three-day Tactical Drone Operation Seminar, equipping 50 police personnel with advanced skills in utilizing drone technology to strengthen law enforcement operations.
The training focused on the application of drones in surveillance, search and rescue, disaster response, and crime prevention, aligning with the vision of PNP Chief Police General Nicolas Torre III to integrate modern technology into police work.
PRO3, under the leadership of Regional Director Police Brig. General Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., translated this directive into action by capacitating its personnel through specialized drone operations training.
In his message, Police Brig. General Peñones commended the participants, emphasizing the importance of adaptability in modern policing. “The integration of drone technology in our operations reflects our adaptability as a modern police force. These skills will not only strengthen our operational readiness but also reinforce our mission to protect the people, pursue peace and order, and promote professionalism,” he said.
The initiative underscores PRO3’s commitment to support the Chief PNP’s thrust for a modernized and future-ready Philippine National Police, ensuring that Central Luzon remains safe, secure, and prepared to face emerging challenges. (Jason de Asis)
