Zoobic Safari installs temporary shelter for rescued wildlife

BATAAN– In a joint effort to bolster wildlife rescue efforts, Zoobic Safari Corporation has installed specialized temporary shelters within the compound of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ community office in Bagac, Bataan.

This initiative addresses the urgent need for adequate temporary holding areas for rescued wildlife, which has become a pressing challenge due to the rise in animal turnovers from citizens, organizations, and government partners.

The newly installed enclosures are designed to provide safe and secure environments for rescued animals while ensuring compliance with wildlife handling protocols.

Regional Executive Director Ralph Pablo expressed his gratitude to Zoobic Safari for its support in advancing wildlife conservation in Central Luzon. He underscored the impact of coordinated efforts between the government and the private sector to advance biodiversity protection initiatives.

“Through this collaboration, the DENR community office in Bagac has become more capable as a receiving center and temporary sanctuary for rescued fauna,” Pablo ended.
