41 Central Luzon residents receive land titles from DENR

PAMPANGA— A total of 41 residents from Aurora, Tarlac, and Zambales received land titles from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) during its Serbisyo Fair, held in celebration of Philippine Environment Month.

They were granted agricultural and residential free patents covering a combined area of 191,000 hectares.

DENR Regional Executive Director Ralph Pablo said the initiative aims to provide legal land ownership to eligible beneficiaries and empower them to develop their properties and contribute to community growth.

“By granting legal recognition to individuals and families, we are not only securing their rightful ownership but also empowering them to cultivate their land with confidence. Stable land tenure serves as a foundation for responsible development, opening doors to economic opportunities and promoting environmental sustainability for future generations,” he stated.

The DENR Serbisyo Fair was simultaneously conducted across all seven provinces in Central Luzon through the agency’s provincial and community offices.

This initiative seeks to bring DENR’s programs and services closer to the public and promote active participation in environmental protection and land administration. (PIA Region 3)
