CLARK FREEPORT ZONE– The Bureau of Customs (BOC) through Port of Clark, working jointly with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Airport Interdiction Unit (PDEA-AIU), intercepted a parcel containing cocaine and ecstasy which originated from London, United Kingdom and was bound for Dumaguete City, Philippines.
The operation was initiated following an information from PDEA regarding the incoming shipment, which arrived on April 25, 2025. On April 28, 2025, a K-9 sniff test conducted by Customs Examiners and PDEA operatives yielded positive results for illegal substances, prompting a full physical examination of the parcel.
Inside the parcel were travel kits, first aid kits and five (5) vacuum-sealed transparent plastic packs. Further examination found that two (2) vacuum-sealed packages contained a white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine, weighing approximately 128 grams with an estimated standard value of ₱678,400.00. Additionally, three (3) vacuum-sealed transparent packs were found containing a yellowish powdery substance suspected to be Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)or “Ecstasy,” weighing approximately 208 grams, with an estimated standard value of ₱884,000.00.

Samples were submitted to PDEA for chemical analysis, which confirmed the substances as MDMA and Cocaine, dangerous drugs listed under Republic Act No. 9165, as amended.
A Warrant of Seizure and Detention was issued against the shipment for violation of sections 118(g), Section 119(d), and Section 1113 paragraphs (f), (i), and (l) of Republic Act No. 10863,
