Derrick’s leadership extends beyond the private sector. He previously served as General Manager of Ayala Malls Harbor Point and Ayala Techno Hub Baguio and also worked with SM Supermalls. With 17 years of public service at the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, he has a strong grasp of governance and economic development. He is also an active member of the San Roque Lectors and Commentators Guild and the incoming President of the Rotary Club of Metro Olongapo.

Beyond business, Derrick is a staunch advocate for culture and tourism. As President of DQM Entertainment Productions, he has organized major events that attract visitors and boost the local economy.
