PAMPANGA – A coordinated anti-drug operation by the Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Guiguinto Municipal Police Station (MPS) resulted in the arrest of two drug suspects and the confiscation of illegal drugs and a firearm in Brgy. Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

The suspects were identified as “Reden,” a resident of Brgy Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, and alias “Remi,” a resident of Brgy. Sapang, San Miguel, Bulacan, both listed as alleged high-value individuals.

During the buy-bust operation, police operatives confiscated 185.8 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of Php 1,293,300.00 and a Caliber .38 revolver loaded with three live rounds was recovered from “Remi’s” possession.

PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), commended the operatives for their swift and decisive action. She emphasized that the successful operation reflects the commitment of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to curb the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.

“This operation underscores our unyielding campaign against illegal drugs. The arrest of these high value individuals is a clear message that we will not tolerate the proliferation of illegal substances in our communities. PRO3 remains committed to bringing drug offenders to justice and ensuring the safety of our citizens,” Fajardo emphasized.

The arrested suspects are now under police custody and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as well as illegal possession of firearms.
