BATAAN- GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD) launched its first-ever Project Saysay, a Plant-a-Love community outreach and an employee-led volunteer activity where birthday celebrators choose a community or a group to celebrate their special day with a cause.
For the pilot launch, GNPD January celebrators decided to turn their special day into a charitable event to benefit children with special needs at Antonio G. Llamas Elementary School (AGLES), Brgy. Poblacion, Mariveles, Bataan.
A total of thirteen (13) children with special needs who experience emotional, behavioral, and cognitive impairments or with intellectual, hearing, vision, speech, or learning challenges benefited from this pursuit.

The program consisted of fun activities for the children with baking, games, and gift-giving. Regardless of their state, the beneficiaries enthusiastically rendered a dance number to show their talents.
The school principal Mrs. Marjorie Paloma expressed her gratitude for GNPD’s efforts to give joy to their students.
On the other hand, the GNPD employee January celebrator, Ryan Gebilaguin said, “This outreach program, GNPD Project Saysay, allows me to interact with lovely children with disabilities and opens my mind that they too could be a big part of the world where we live, through us, normal people’s guidance. After all, they are a human being who deserves our care, love, and attention.”
Project Saysay aims to be the avenue for collective action of employee volunteers and be a channel of hope for their chosen beneficiaries.
This campaign is a reminder that our simple efforts make an impact reflecting that giving is a great source of joy and fulfillment. (PR)
