Shoppers got a glimpse of the traditional Lion and Dragon Dance during the Chinese New Year celebration at SM City Olongapo Downtown and SM City Olongapo Central. While dancing, the Lion and dragon dance performers go around the mall to get all the lucky hanging hong baos. The lion dance is one of the most important traditions during Chinese New Year. It is performed to bring prosperity and good luck. It is also a way to set a festive environment and bring happiness. The Lion and Dragon Dance performers also visited SM City Pampanga, SM City Clark , SM City Cabanatuan and SM City Tarlac to spread goodluck and joy on Chinese New Year.
